Ook heeft de terminal nu ondersteuning voor invoer van de muis voor console-applicaties. Deze modus staat heeft de naam Quake Mode. Het gaat om versie 1.9 waarin je nu de mogelijkheid hebt om de terminal vast te maken bovenin het scherm. Microsoft heeft een nieuwe versie uitgebracht van de Windows Terminal.
